Stephanie grew up playing volleyball and basketball and now stays active by running (anything from 5Ks to marathons), cross-training with either HIIT workouts or strength training, walking or hiking on local trails, and will throw in an occasional bike ride. She realized there was so much more to learn and went on to receive her master's in exercise science from Concordia University - St. Paul with a degree in kinesiology and a minor in psychology. Shelley also works as a Clinical Performance Coach with physical therapy patients and enjoys bringing that expertise to her Stretchly clients she frequently incorporates corrective exercise into her stretch sessions when beneficial for the client. She credits corrective exercise as playing a tremendous role in her recovery, which was the main reason she decided to become a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist.
