If you get good at aiming it, it really helps, just gauge where it will land by the time it fires, and you can sometimes push back raids with just this. I have my industrial base where mortars are not researched, but 1 mortar in the garden because i packed it up and hauled it back, and its an EXCELLENT help. Preferably ambush with them at corners with a melee guy.Be very careful with friendly fire though It can hurt you badOne careful note: if you ever get a seige, you can steal the mortar and bring it to your base. Muffalos are slow, but durable and ram hard. Is all the grass gonna die in the winter meaning I have to actually feed them? If you train them, yes.train in obedience and release, and they will attack. Some traders are visiting and I just shore their wool so I COULD sell them all. They have pretty high health and decent DPS I feel like they could make the difference of life and death if I knew how to use them in some kind of effective way. I'm getting pretty nasty raids and I'm not sure my people can survive these much longer, even with my roofed defensive wall/sandbag set up.I have 6 Muffalo now and I was wondering if there's a way I can use these to help me against raids? I've got 7 colonists, only 5 of which can fight, and since I started as a tribe I'm way behind on tech - no turrets, no firearms (only scavenged really low quality stuff like Awful Pistol), no helmets or vests. ![]()
